Audrey is a co-founding Partner of the LLP, and Head of the Real Estate Practice Group.

Audrey started out in practice at one of the largest local law firms in Singapore, where she handled such diverse transactions as the transfer of undertaking of mortgages from a US regional bank to its national headquarters in New York, the sale of strata units in a warehouse complex and the drafting of Agreements to Lease for a new office cum shopping complex whilst under construction. 

Audrey’s current practice, whilst retaining a property focus, is also tailored to the very specific requirements of her diverse clientele. She has advised clients on transactions ranging from the acquisition of a coal mine to the purchase of a minority stake in a foreign bank, and the divestiture of a convention & exhibition centre and its business assets. Her practice is not confined to Singapore shores and is very much dictated by the business interests of her clients. She has advised, as well as acted as instructing counsel for commercial transactions undertaken in various jurisdictions such as Australia, China, Dubai, Hong Kong SAR, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam and the rest of the Asia-Pacific region.

• Advising a listed Hong Kong developer in its successful S$1.38 billion joint venture bid for the landmark Orchard Turn site in Singapore.

• Advising a private client in its proposed acquisition of a substantial commodity-based asset in Indonesia of a value surpassing $700 million.

• Acting for a foreign developer in the sale of one of Singapore's foremost convention and exhibition centres, together with its business and assets of a value exceeding S$320 million.

• Advising an Australian law firm on the restructuring and sale of their client's hotel business in Singapore to their wholly owned subsidiary at a value of S$261 million.

• Advising a private client regarding the sale of its land in Xiamen via a transfer of shares in its Wholly Owned Foreign Enterprise in China to its Singapore company.

• Advising a private client in respect of a structured notes contract issued by Nomura Bank in a complex cross-border transaction carried out on Euroclear.

• Advising a private company in its proposed acquisition of a material recovery facility and other assets from Singapore's foremost waste management operator. 

• Advising a listed company in respect of its bond financing options for a greenfield power plant project in Vietnam.

• Advising a listed Hong Kong developer in its tender bid for the new Business & Financial Centre (BFC) site in Marina Bay, Singapore.

• Acting for a private investor in its acquisition of a minority stake in a listed Sri Lankan bank.

• Advising owners of 30 landed properties in a successful class action against the developer for damages, in respect of defects therein.

• Acting for a foreign developer in the sale and lease of their strata titled offices and lease of their retail and food and beverage space in a mega development comprising 5 office towers, a shopping complex and convention centre; and its subsequent securitization and spin-off as a REIT of a value exceeding S$2.1 billion.

Audrey is also a multiple prize-winning poet with published works. She was nominated for inclusion in "The International Who's Who in Poetry" in 2005. She is an archaeology buff, enjoys boating, off-the-beaten-track travel and racquet sports, and is an avid Liverpool FC fan.
